This course is for children from kindergarten to 17 years old. Jim Wagner, author of the curriculum, gained his experience in teaching children when he was a D.A.R.E. Officer (Drug Abuse Resistance Education and Violence Avoidance) trained by the Los Angeles Police Department. Topics covered range from strangers to improper touching to drug education.
Subject matter varies depending upon age group being taught.
